Kronos Quartet spends five months of each year on tour, appearing in concert halls, clubs, and at festivals around the world. More and more, Cabrillo is becoming a frequent port-of-call, where audiences embrace the Quartet as if they are family members returned home, ready to reveal the musical gems, oddities, and amazements of their year's explorations touring the globe. As with the Festival, with Kronos there is always something new, something revealed, and something inspiring to collect from experiencing them here.

This year there will be all the polish, brilliance, and sense of discovery that is their trademark, but with a new twist—a special post-concert Q&A session! It offers the rare opportunity for you to ask those questions that pop to mind when the music is fresh, fearless, and provocative. Ever wondered how they discover musicians from the far reaches of the world? How they manage life, travel, and partnerships of more than twenty years? Or how they decide who gets to play the wind up toy? Well, this will be the night to bring your curiosity and your questions to learn more about this icon of the music world.

Don’t miss Kronos at Cabrillo, the ultimate port-of-call.
