50th Anniversary: July 28 - August 14, 2012

Marin is still developing the Festival's special 50th anniversary season but we do have a few confirmed highlights we can share. Renowned Scottish composer James MacMillan will return for the world premiere of a just-completed work commissioned especially for our 50th. We will expand our season to three weeks, with the world premiere performances of The Hidden World of Girls: Stories for Orchestra—a collaboration with the Kitchen Sisters of NPR Radio and four female composers. The Festival has commissioned three additional new works including one for young audiences—and that's just the beginning of what's in store! We will announce our full season in mid-April, in the meantime, you are encouraged to connect with us in any or all of the following ways:
