COMPOSERS

The Cabrillo Festival presents ten composers-in-residence this year, including Mason Bates, John Corigliano, Michael Daugherty, Kenneth Fuchs, Dave Heath, Jennifer Hidgon, Daniel Kellogg, Aaron Jay Kernis, Mark O'Connor, and Kevin Puts. As well, we'll feature works by Thomas Adès, Philip Glass, and James MacMillan.

Cabrillo's 2007 Season composers are America and the United Kingdom’s preeminent composers of orchestral music and you and your family can see, meet, and hear them in person. Festival opportunities allowing you to mingle with them are plentiful and endearingly casual, so be sure to attend the many free Open Rehearsals as well as the ticketed MEET THE COMPOSERS event on Saturday, August 4 at 1:30pm.
