WOW! The Festival's "petting zoo" style tour of the Orchestra
is so much fun, we're going to do it again! Once the adventure begins,
Conductor Marin Alsop and the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra will be
joined by Disney composer Gregory Smith for the West Coast premiere
of his sensational new work, Mr. Smith's Bowl of Notes. It's
a delightful romp through the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern
musical periods using those 12 glorious notes that have been used
for more than 400 years! Mr. Smith will keep the whole family at
the edge of their musical chairs!
The Family Concert day promises to be a barrel of fun. Be sure
to get tickets early. They're free but they always go fast.
