"You can buy a CD, go to a fancy concert hall and hear something once,
but it wont compare to the Cabrillo Festival. Its music camp
for the whole town..." fan Julie Zuckerman of New York City
Open Rehearsals
Marin says that Festival goers "treat music as a participatory

Pre-Rehearsal Talks
Sometimes the smallest details about a piece of music or its composer
give you that "lightbulb over the head" feeling, or spark your
interest deeply. These speakers bring their love and knowledge of the
music to informal sessions preceding Open Rehearsals at the Civic Auditorium,
and their enthusiasm about music will kindle your own.
