Be sure to get tickets early, they always go fast. By popular demand, the "petting zoo" style tour of the orchestra returns this year on Sunday, August 3rd at 2pm to start this year’s musical family adventure! Then everyone convenes inside the Civic Auditorium with the sensational Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Marin Alsop. The little tikes’ hearts will be all a flutter with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, a fabulous suite for orchestra, written by Academy Award winner John Williams, from the blockbuster movie. Hedwig’s Theme, Nimbus 2000, Harry’s Wondrous World, and the Sorcerer’s Stone, will bring sheer delight to the whole family! The Family Concert day promises to be a barrel of fun.
