Featuring the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, conducted by Marin Alsop.

It’s a wild evening delving into the mind of Pulitzer-prize and 2001 Grammy Award winning composer, Christopher Rouse. One of the century’s most brilliant composers returns to the Festival to share with audiences a program of all-Rouse, nothing-but-Rouse, works including:

Phantasmata (3 movements including The Infernal Machine and Bump)
Envoi (West Coast Premiere)
Phaethon
Kabir Padavali (West Coast Premiere) featuring soprano Valdine Anderson.
