Featuring Scottish percussionist Evelyn Glennie and the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, conducted by Marin Alsop.

Three West Coast Premieres! In the splendor of the Old Mission San Juan Bautista, Evelyn Glennie joins the orchestra for Thea Musgrave’s marimba concerto, Journey Through a Japanese Landscape. Grammy and Academy Award winning composer John Corigliano joins us for the West Coast Premiere of his 2001 Pulitzer Prize-winning Symphony No. 2. And composer Daugherty joins returns for the West Coast Premiere of his Bells for Stokowski. An unforgettable program in an unforgettable setting.
