Pre-Rehearsal Talks

Sometimes the smallest details about a piece of music or its composer give you that "lightbulb over the head" feeling, or spark your interest deeply. These three speakers bring their love and knowledge of CMF's music to informal sessions preceding Open Rehearsals at the Civic Auditorium, and their enthusiasm about music will kindle your own.

6:45-7:15 p.m.
July 31
Phyllis Rosenblum on "The Photographer"

August 7
Eugene Kindgon on "Music at the Mission"

August 8
Leta Miller, author of "Lou Harrison: Composing a World," on "Rapunzel"
