Artist Biographies: Leonidas KassapidesShadow Artist Leonidas Kassapides is one of the youngest and most active Greek Shadow Theatre Masters; performing bilingual shows in the U.S. and Europe. He has received a B.A in Theatre from Berea College in Kentucky where he is Artistic Director of the Paranoix Theatre (a puppetry and circus arts troupe sponsored in part by the Kentucky Arts Council) and the U.S. chapter of the Clown Emergency Unit. He works as an artist in residence at all educational levels, and has directed musical productions of Annie, The Wizard of Oz, and Alice in Wonderland. In the fall of 2000, he returned to his hometown of Thessaloniki, Greece and worked as a writer and Executive Producer for "AMAN," a popular political comedy show.
