Against a backdrop of forested hills and a huge dome of blue sky, a cathedral of redwood trees stands awaiting your arrival at the Millpond, an exquisite park-like estate in the Soquel hills. Beneath these stately trees, join our hosts, Annie and Marlin Clegg, as Cabrillo Music Festival presents another "match made in heaven." Cabrillo Music Festival brings its annual Benefit Concert to a magnificent new setting for Festival patrons to discover, marvel and enjoy.

A wide, verdant lawn stretches for acres next to the cattail-fringed pond. You'll stroll under the wide sky, pausing to look at the mallard gliding on the water near the willow. A cluster of sycamores stand adjacent a stone wall framing the redwood trees, and a sunlight-dappled glade draws you in, while the lilt of the creek completes a tableau of utter beauty and elegance.

Ten acclaimed, local chefs will create a special culinary offering in tribute to the wines of ten local vintners. Bittersweet Bistro, Bleu Spoon, Café Cruz, Casablanca, Clouds Downtown, Gabriella Café, Oswald, Ristorante Avanti, Theo's French Restaurant, and Chef Billy Healy of Áegis of Aptos, join Ahlgren Vineyard, Bonny Doon Vineyard, David Bruce Winery, Equinox Champagne, River Run Vintners, Roudon-Smith Winery, Salamandre Wine Cellars, Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard, Storrs Winery, and Zayante Vineyards, for another unforgettable evening that pampers all the senses. After the palate is sated you'll find seats in the redwood cathedral and enjoy an intimate chamber music concert with Concertmaster Yumi Hwang and members of the Festival Orchestra. So close...you will hear them breathe. And your spirits will lift and soar, as high and wide as the endless sky above.
